6/11 - Impacts to MM and ACK Routes

Multiple construction projects will impact vehicles and pedestrians in and around the Wexner Medical Center. The June 11 closure of the SR-315 on-ramp at 12th Avenue, as well as Cannon Drive, south of Herrick Drive, will limit vehicular traffic. The Morehouse to Med Center Shuttle (MM) and Ackerman Shuttle (ACK) will be detoured beginning June 11 as follows:

  • The Morehouse to Med Center Shuttle (MM) will be detoured to Herrick Drive and will continue to service the James Cancer Hospital, Rhodes Hall and Ross Heart Hospital stops. See MM reroute map.
  • The Ackerman Shuttle (ACK) will be detoured to 12th Avenue and will service temporary stops at the southwest corner of the Biomedical Research Tower (BRT) as well as the northeast corner of Doan Hall. From there, it will continue to service the 10th Avenue and Meiling Hall stop.  See ACK reroute map.

Commuters should plan ahead and expect delays. In addition, fencing will be installed along Neil Avenue in early June to shift pedestrian traffic to the east. These efforts support vehicular access at Neil Avenue and Herrick Drive while the Cannon Drive project construction continues.
