Student Bus Operator jobs are currently available! As a Student Bus Operator, you will join more than 150 student and full-time drivers who provide compassionate and caring service to the five million passengers Campus Area Bus Service transports annually.
COMPETITIVE WAGES, PAID TRAININGStudent Bus Operator pay starts at $9.00/hour while in the training program. Student Bus Operators receive high-quality paid, in-class and on-road training. Once a Student Bus Operator obtains a Class B CDL, the rate of pay increases to $10.00/hour.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULINGCampus Area Bus Service operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, allowing for flexibility when scheduling work shifts. Student shifts vary in length and time of day and are designed to work around the most common class schedules. While weekend and overnight shifts are not mandatory, they are available. Student employees should expect work between 15 and 28 hours per week.
