The annual summer bicycle abatement program is underway. This large scale sweep cleans up unwanted and abandoned bikes left on campus, clogging busy bike racks, and helps prepare the campus for bicycles arriving in the fall. Transportation & Traffic Management is tagging bicycles on campus with a bright pink courtesy warning tag. Bicycles are given two weeks to be moved. Those bicycles not moved after two weeks will be impounded and held for 90 days awaiting owner pick up.
If a bicycle you are currently using is issued one of these courtesy warning tags, simply remove the tag from your bike. That way, we know the bicycle is in use and has not been abandoned.
