The Capital City Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 30, from approximately 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Several streets, including portions of Lane Avenue, High Street, Olentangy River Road, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 19th Avenue, Neil Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue and 12th Avenue will be closed. Campus will be accessible only from the west, via Lane Avenue to Fyffe Road to Woody Hayes Drive, via Kenny Road to Woody Hayes Drive or northbound State Route 315 to Med Center Drive.
The West Campus route will be suspended during this time. Limited CABS On-Demand and paratransit service will be available. Major traffic delays are anticipated. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area.
During student move-out on April 30, please note the following:
- North Campus will be accessible from Woody Hayes Drive, between Kenny and College roads.
- South Campus will be accessible by taking 11th from Hight St.
- Residence Halls located on 12th Avenue will be mostly inaccessible due to the closure of 12th Avenue, from Neil Avenue to College Road.
- Minimal impacts are anticipated to the mid-campus towers.
