CABS winter break service begins Friday, December 15. Most CABS routes will run reduced bus service Monday - Friday, with no service overnight, on weekends and on December 25 and 26 as well as January 1. Regular CABS service will resume on Sunday, January 7.
The Ohio State University has once again achieved a Silver Level Bicycle Friendly University rating by the League of American Bicyclists. The rating, which is valid through 2027, recognizes the university’s achievements in promoting and enabling safe, accessible bicycling on campus.
From November 27 through January 5, 2024, southbound College Road, just south of Annie and John Glenn Avenue and the Page Hall loading dock will be closed.Southbound traffic, including CABS Campus Connector, will be detoured east on 18th Avenue to High Street. Northbound traffic will be maintained. Traffic delays are anticipated.
During home football Saturdays, motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area. CABS routes (including paratransit and on-demand service) are suspended six hours before kickoff until two hours after the end of the game.
The Hot Chocolate Run will take place on Sunday, November 19. Rolling closures will occur along High Street, south of 11th Avenue from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Please note that the intersection of 11th Avenue and High Street will also be closed at this time. CABS On-Demand and paratransit will remain available.
