Multiple events occurring through the week of August 20 will result in roadway restrictions and closures, heavy traffic, travel and bus service delays as well as increased demand for parking across campus. Motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time and plan ahead.
In anticipation of inclement weather conditions on Saturday, Jan. 19, and in an effort to make garages more accessible for faculty and staff working on university holidays, the medical center will open the 9th Avenue West Garage from Friday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. through Monday, Jan. 21.
To align with the changes, the Med Center Express and Overnight On-Demand service will end service at Saturday, Jan. 19, at 12:30 a.m. Service resumes on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 12:01 a.m. with the Overnight On-Demand shuttle.

CABS winter break service runs Friday (12/14) - Saturday (1/5). Most CABS routes will run reduced bus service Monday - Friday, with no service overnight, on weekends and on university holidays. The Med Center Express and overnight on-demand service at the Wexner Medical Center will continue to run its normal schedule during this time, expect on specified holiday periods*. Safety is the university’s top priority and Facilities Operations and Development (FOD), CampusParc, Transportation & Traffic Management (TTM) and the Department of Public Safety work together to offer services during the winter months to keep you safe. As snow and ice start to collect, FOD teams are dispatched to treat campus roadways and sidewalks. They remain on campus throughout the day and night treating and plowing as needed. In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, most CABS routes, except the Med Center Express, will provide break service on Wed. (11/21) and no service Thurs. (11/22) – Sat. (11/24). The Med Center Express will run its normal schedule Wed. (11/21) – Fri. (11/23), and no service on Sat. (11/24). Staff working in the Wexner Medical Center area on Saturday should follow the home football Saturday transportation and parking operations .
On Sun. (11/25), CABS service will resume with the Med Center Express, Overnight and Weekend, Buckeye Village and paratransit service.

The Columbus Marathon will take place on Sunday (10/21) from approximately 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Several campus streets, including sections of Neil Ave., 12th Ave., College Rd., Annie and John Glenn Ave., Woody Hayes Dr., Kenny Rd., Lane Ave. and King Ave. will be closed. Access to the Carmack Lots on west campus will be available via Kinnear Road only. The Med Center Express will continue its normal service. All other CABS routes will be suspended during this time. Motorists should anticipate traffic delays in these areas during the event.
