The daily 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. closure of the northern westbound lane of King Avenue, between Cannon Drive and the SR-315 overpass, originally scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 31, has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, November 6.This lane closure will facilitate work associated with the installation of a retaining wall for the Cannon Drive relocation project and will be in place for approximately one month. Traffic delays are anticipated during these times.
The nightly closure of the northbound SR-315 Medical Center Drive / King Avenue off-ramp, previously scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 19, has been rescheduled to begin on Sunday, September 24. The off-ramp will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. for approximately one month.
The closure will facilitate the distribution of dirt between the SR-315 on and off ramps, which is needed to begin the construction of the new Cannon Drive roadway. Emergency vehicle access from 315 will be maintained via a traffic control officer.
Construction on and around the west campus Carmack surface parking lots continues in advance of Cannon Drive construction. Beginning Monday (6/5), the southern portion of Carmack 2 and Carmack 3 will close. Fences will cause temporary closures of the Carmack 1 and Carmack 4 bus stops. CABS access will be maintained in Carmack 5, Carmack Corners, at Bevis Hall and a temporary stop will be added across from Bevis Hall. The project is expected to last throughout the summer ( see map ). In the coming weeks, work will begin to enhance traffic flow along Lane Avenue.
On May 10, beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing through 5 p.m., Neil Avenue between 11th Avenue and 12th Avenue will be restricted to northbound traffic only for a crane lift at Oxley Hall. CABS detours will be as follows:

Beginning as early as Friday (3/31) at approximately 6 p.m. and continuing through Sunday (4/9) evening, Woodruff Avenue, between Tuttle Park Place and Scott House, will be closed to thru-traffic for utility work. Access to the Scott House loading dock will be maintained. Vehicular traffic will be detoured to Lane Avenue.
The Campus Loop South, North Express and Buckeye Village will be rerouted via westbound 19th Avenue, southbound Neil Avenue, westbound Annie and John Glenn Avenue and northbound Tuttle Park Place.

In June 2016, Campus Partners and the university announced a comprehensive vision for the 15th Avenue and High Street area, and construction on the east side of High Street is underway. High Street work will begin Monday (3/27), scheduled to be completed by August 2017. The work, which will build a new storm sewer system, will require lane restrictions on parts of High Street, allowing one lane to remain open in each direction. The restrictions will begin at 13th Avenue and move north in rolling 250 ft increments.
Beginning Wednesday, August 3, and continuing through Sunday, August 14, 11th Avenue north of the 11th Avenue Garage will be closed in both directions for roadway work. Garage access will be maintained as work progresses with shifting of access, as applicable. Dates and impacts may change depending on field conditions, but signage will be in place. Beginning Tuesday, July 19, and continuing for approximately 3 weeks, the City of Columbus has advised that 11th Avenue, between Worthington St. and Neil Ave., will be westbound only. Access to the 11th Avenue Garage will be maintained, accessible via east on 10th Ave., north on Highland Ave., and west on 11th Ave.
Woodruff Avenue, between High Street and Tuttle Park Place, will be closed in both directions July 16-23 for roadway work. During this time, westbound vehicular traffic from High Street should use 18th Avenue to College Road. Eastbound traffic should use Tuttle Park Place to Annie and John Glenn Avenue. The Campus Loop North, Campus Loop South and Buckeye Village will be rerouted.
Beginning Tuesday, June 21, and continuing through early August, Carmack Road, between Bevis Hall and the Carmack Road corner, will be closed for roadway improvements. The north / south portion of Carmack Road, between Arthur Adams Drive and the corner, will be southbound only. CABS buses will be rerouted westbound Lane Avenue to southbound Carmack Road and will not service the Carmack Corner or Bevis Hall stops. Parking lots will remain accessible. Motorists should follow detour signage in the area.
