In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all CABS routes, except the Med Center Express, will provide break service on Wed. (11/22) and no service Thurs. (11/23) – Sat. (11/25). On Sun. (11/26), CABS service will resume with the Overnight and Weekend, Buckeye Village and paratransit service. The Med Center Express will run its normal schedule Wed. (11/22) – Sun. (11/26).
The Hot Chocolate Run will take place on Sunday (11/5). Rolling closures will occur on several roads, including portions of High St., Lane Ave., Olentangy River Rd., 5th Ave. and Neil Ave. from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. During this time, the Overnight and Weekend route will use Woodruff Ave. to College Rd. and will not service the Archer House and Taylor Tower bus stops. The Buckeye Invitational high school band competition will take place on Saturday (10/14). Motorists should anticipate additional traffic and increased parking demand near Ohio Stadium throughout the day. From 9:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., rolling closures of southbound Cannon Drive at Woody Hayes Drive will occur to facilitate outbound traffic. The Overnight and Weekend route will continue to run service as scheduled during this time.
The Homecoming Parade will take place on Fri. (10/6). Sections of Woody Hayes Dr., Woodruff Ave., College Rd., Cannon Dr., 12th Ave., Annie and John Glenn Ave., 18th Ave. and 19th Ave. will be closed 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Road closure details are listed below. All CABS routes, except the Med Center Express, Martha Morehouse and Ackerman routes, will be suspended during this time. Traffic delays are anticipated.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk event will take place on Sunday, October 1. From 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., Cannon Drive, between Herrick Drive and Woody Hayes Drive, will be closed completely. Rolling closures will occur along sections of Woody Hayes Drive, / Woodruff Avenue, College Road, Neil Avenue and 17th Avenue. CABS service, except the Med Center Express, will be suspended. Motorists should anticipate traffic delays in these areas during this time.
During home football Saturdays, the Med Center Express and On-Demand service will not operate from 12:30 a.m. on Saturdays through 12:30 a.m. on Sundays. All other CABS routes (Overnight & Weekend, Buckeye Village and paratransit) are suspended six hours prior to kickoff until two hours after the end of the game.
The On-Demand service will be available starting at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. The Med Center Express will resume normal operations at 5 a.m. on Sunday.

On Monday (8/21), from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuttle Park Place will close south of the Tuttle Garage, and Annie and John Glenn Avenue will close west of Neil Avenue. No thru traffic will be permitted. The North Express and Buckeye Village CABS routes will continue to stop at Ag. Campus, St. John Arena and RPAC Plaza but will not service additional central campus stops during that time. Commuters should plan ahead and allow extra travel time. View CABS routes .
On Saturday (4/15), the spring football game begins at 12:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate heavier than normal traffic on highways and streets around campus and increased demand for parking on Saturday. Football shuttles will provide service between the Mount Hall Loop on West Campus and the Sisson Footbridge, west of the Olentangy River, from 9 a.m. until one hour after the spring football game. CABS will suspend all service from 10 a.m. until one hour after the game.
