Beginning March 27 and continuing through late August 2023, the Cannon / Herrick intersection and the Herrick Bridge will be closed. Traffic, including CABS, will be rerouted via Woody Hayes to Cannon to Herrick via a new temporary road through the Lincoln Lot. The change to this new traffic pattern will occur throughout the day on March 27, so motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and should continue to follow detour signs. Continue to review the website for updates as weather may impact timing and roadway conditions. From March 27 to mid-May, Herrick east of Cannon will be reduced to one lane, with two-way traffic maintained via a temporary signal for approximately one month. The South Campus Chiller parking lot will close at this time. Starting in mid-May, the Olentangy Trail will be rerouted around Ohio Stadium. Major traffic delays are anticipated. Cannon Drive closures will proceed north to Woody Hayes through the end of 2024. The closures support Cannon Drive Relocation – Phase 2.
