Beginning March 16 and continuing through the end of April 2023, there will be no through vehicle and pedestrian traffic along 10th Avenue between Medical Center Drive and Neil Avenue. Pedestrians will be rerouted to 9th and 11th avenues and should enter Graves Hall and Meiling Hall via the south side of the building on 9th Avenue. Parking along 10th Avenue will be closed. ADA and visitor parking is available in the SAFEAUTO and Wexner Medical Center garages. Access to Brain and Spine, Fry Hall and Starling Loving will be maintained throughout the project. Access to the Graves Hall and Newton Halls docks will be maintained for the majority of the project, however, short-term closures will occur while roadway paving takes place. Area stakeholders will be notified of final dates. Beginning March 16, the Ackerman Shuttle will be rerouted to service the Ackerman Complex as well as temporary stops on the north side of the Biomedical Research Tower (BRT) on Herrick Drive and Meiling Hall on 9th Avenue. The Harding Hospital, Doan Hall and Meiling Hall stops on 10th Avenue will not be serviced. The pedestrian tunnel that connects Hamilton to Newton will be closed from late March to early April for waterproofing. Detour signage will be posted. Motorists should anticipate delays. The work supports area roadway enhancements associated with Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center as well as the Jane E. Heminger Hall and Renovation of Newton Hall projects.
