Educate, Engage and Empower Yourself During Mobility Week

Mobility Week, which will be held October 15-19, is a coordinated effort to educate, engage and empower the campus community around the current options and future of mobility on campus and beyond. There are several opportunities provided throughout the week to get in on the movement to drive less and drive electric.

As the winner of the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) first-ever Smart City Challenge, Columbus was awarded $50 million in grant funding and the designation as America's Smart City. The initiative seeks to transform mobility in central Ohio, and change what it's like to live in our community. Ohio State is the primary research partner of Smart Columbus. A team with representatives from Ohio State's Corporate Engagement Office, Center for Automotive Research (CAR), Transportation and Traffic Management, Smart Campus student group and several community partners are involved in planning the week's activities.
