With colder weather, you’ll likely bundle up to stay warm, but make sure you do not limit your vision or line of sight. Please follow these additional tips to enhance safety:
- Look up from your phone and eliminate distractions.
- Remove earbuds or lower volume to best hear traffic.
- Dress in bright colors when walking or biking.
- Obey traffic signs and signals.
- Use sidewalks and crosswalks when walking.
- Yield to pedestrians when driving.
Scooter parking zones are available near The Oval, and motorized scooters should be ridden in the road, not on sidewalks. Stay informed of Campus Area Bus Service (CABS) routes and pick-up times with real-time bus tracking through the Ohio State app.
