Reading bus headers
CABS bus headers contain two parts. First is the route acronym, a two- or three-letter abbreviation of the route name. This identifier lets you know you're on the right bus for your specific destination. You can filter by route name/acronym on the Ohio State app under map options to ensure which stops are serviced by which routes.
The second part - on the right-hand side - is the route description. This describes the path that the bus will take to get to its next destination. If the header says "Express Service," it will proceed directly to the destination listed on the header. If not, it will list the stops it will make en route to the destination listed on the header.
See below for two examples of a CABS bus header:

MC = Med Center Express
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
This bus is headed to the Herrick Dr. Transit Hub. This is an express service route and will travel directly to the next destination.
ROUTE ACRONYM
CC = Campus Connector
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
This bus is headed to North Campus and will stop next at Kinnear Rd. and Woodruff Ave.

Entering and exiting
To improve congestion when entering and exiting the bus, please use the front door to enter and the back door to exit.
Please wait for passengers to exit the bus before boarding.
- CABS buses stop at every designated campus bus stop; you do not need to press the stop bar or pull the cord.
- For your safety, CABS buses are permitted to pick up and drop off passengers at designated campus bus stops only.
- All CABS buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts.
If standing on a bus, hold on to vertical bars or seat back handles.
