New this fall, updated Campus Area Bus Service (CABS) routes change which stops are serviced. Beginning Monday, August 22, four routes will be offered, including Medical Center Express (MC) and East Residential (ER), along with new options called Campus Connector (CC) and Buckeye Express (BE). The Buckeye Express replaces Campus Loop North (CLN) and Campus Loop South (CLS), with service between the Buckeye Lot and Ohio Union. It will not service the Transit Hub. There will also no longer be service at the Mid-Towers or Drake Union, but riders can instead use the CABS On Demand Service from this location. (Please note: The Campus Connector and On Demand Service will be available beginning Sunday, August 21).
Buckeye Express (BE) riders wishing to access the transit hub, from the Buckeye Lot, will need to make a transfer to the new Campus Circulator (CC) at a central campus stop. The CC route replaces West Campus (WC), with service from the Carmack Lots, through main campus to the hub.
Buckeye Express (BE) Service Times
- 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., every 10 minutes
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every 8 minutes
- 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., every 15 minutes
Campus Connector (CC) Service Times
- 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., every 10 minutes
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every 7 minutes
- 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., every 15 minutes
Important Information About Stops
- No Mid Towers or Drake Service
- Riders should use the CABS On Demand Service from this location.
- Hale Hall and Kuhn Honors stops will move to 11th Avenue, at Worthington, in both directions.
These changes support upcoming construction plans impacting roadways during portions of the 2022-2023 academic year.
