Regular CABS service for autumn semester will resume on Saturday evening, August 17, after student move-in is complete.
CABS provides approximately 5 million rides annually. As part of normal operations, routes are reviewed on annual basis to determine if and when adjustments need to be made. CABS service changes for the 2019-2020 academic year include:
- (MC) Med Center Express Service
- No weekend or holiday service
- (OW) Overnight and Weekend Route
- The OW will no longer serve the Buckeye Lot, which will increase service frequencies from 40 to 30 minutes during off-peak times, and 20 to 15 minutes during peak times. In addition, weekend peak service will begin at 9 a.m. instead of noon.
- The change was made as a result of low ridership on this route at the Buckeye Lot.
- (WC) West Campus Route
- The WC route will service new stops along Kenny and Kinnear roads, decreasing service frequencies from 30 to 40 minutes during off-peak times, and 15 to 20 minutes during peak times.
