Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Campus Area Bus Service Recognized for Commitment to Reducing Emissions

Transportation and Traffic Management’s Campus Area Bus Service has been recognized by Ohio Clean Fuels as a three-star certified Ohio Green Fleet. The certification recognizes organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency. TTM recently broke ground on a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station, with long-term plans to transition all CABS buses and other fleet vehicles to alternative fuel models. The university currently operates four CNG buses and will add six more by October 2017.

These initiatives align with Ohio State’s continued efforts to advance sustainability across campus and throughout the community, including strategic sustainability goals developed by faculty, staff and students to enhance and expand policies, operations and practices.
