Effective March 2, 2026, the electric vehicle (EV) charging station hourly usage rate will be $.50 / kwh. The rate applies to all EV stations on all Ohio State campuses and is used to cover machine operating and maintenance costs. Customers may remain parked only while the charging station is being used and should move cars when fully charged. As a reminder, electric vehicle charging is permitted only at designated Level 2 charging stations. Charging from any other source—including wall outlets, maintenance outlets, or extension cords—is dangerous and not permitted.
