In an effort to make garages more accessible for faculty and staff working over the holidays, the medical center will open the 9th Avenue West Garage for use during specified holiday periods.
Multiple construction projects will impact vehicles and pedestrians in and around the Wexner Medical Center. The June 11 closure of the SR-315 on-ramp at 12th Avenue, as well as Cannon Drive, south of Herrick Drive, will limit vehicular traffic.
Beginning May 7, and continuing through mid-August 2018, the northbound SR- 315 exit ramp to Medical Center Dr. / King Ave. will be closed. Motorists may use Goodale St. to Neil Ave. or Lane Ave. to Olentangy River Rd. Starting June 11, and continuing through late November 2018, the entrance ramp to southbound SR-315 at Cannon Dr. and 12th Ave. will be closed. Motorists may use Neil Ave.
On Tues., Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. – noon, electrical work along Cannon Drive will result in traffic signal outages at the intersections of 12th Ave. and Cannon Dr. as well as Herrick Dr. and Cannon Dr. Traffic officials will be on-site during this time to assist with traffic flows. Minimal impacts are anticipated. Dates are weather dependent and subject to change.
Beginning Sunday (12/10) at 7 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday (9/5), Cannon Drive will close for construction between Medical Center Drive and 12th Avenue. Access to SR315 will be maintained. The Polo and Dodd surface parking lots will close Monday evening (9/4).
CABS has made updates to its previously announced 2017-2018 routes and service times. To be responsive to customer needs, the North Express bus route will service the west campus Carmack Lot 5 lot during the academic year. North Express will not service the Buckeye Lots.
