TSA Lifts Face Mask Mandate

Mask Update (April 19, 2022): According to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) face masks are no longer required on public transportation. Riders using Ohio State's CABS, paratransit and charter services are no longer required to wear a face mask. Face masks are optional.

In the News: Ohio State Takes Electric Cars for a Spin

For the first time, The Ohio State University on Thurday gave the public a chance to test electric vehicles for themselves.

Approximately 250 Ohio State students, faculty and staff pre-registered for the chance to take an electric car out for a spin at the Smart Columbus Ride and Drive Roadshow.

Attendees had 13 electric vehicles to choose from, including the Nissan LEAF and Tesla Model X.

Sustainability Funds Awarded to TTM for University Alternative Fuel Fleet Vehicle Purchases

In support of the university’s operational excellence and resource stewardship sustainability goals and strategic plan, departments may apply for up to $10,000 toward the incremental cost of a new electric vehicle (EV) and up to $20,000 toward the incremental cost of a new compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle.
