CABS Summer Service, Reroutes
CABS summer service begins Wednesday, May 6. Most CABS routes, including CABS On-Demand and paratransit, run reduced bus service Monday - Friday, with no service overnight, on the weekends and on university holidays. Visit the CABS page for service details. College Road construction beginning late May and continuing through December 2026 will reroute CABS to High Street.From late May through early July, the CABS Campus Connector (CC) route will be detoured to southbound High Street. Stillman Hall and Ohio Union southbound stops will be closed.From early July through late December, CABS routes will be detoured to High Street. Temporary stops will be available for southbound traffic at High Street and 15th Avenue as well as Ohio Union. The Arps Hall stop will also remain open for the East Residential route. 11th Ave. Westbound Only, CABS Detours
Peak student move out days are May 4-6. 11th Avenue will be westbound only during this time to facilitate move out traffic. Access 11th Avenue Garage via High Street to westbound 11th Avenue or via Neil Avenue to 10th Avenue to Highland to 11th Avenue. CABS will be detoured to 12th Avenue, with temporary stops at and across from Hale Hall. Parking lots, garages, loading zones and roadways will be busier than normal during this time. Traffic delays are anticipated. Normal parking restrictions still apply during move-out. -
Major Campus Travel, Parking, Bus Impacts in April
Multiple campus events are scheduled throughout April. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead for major travel, parking and bus service impacts and allow additional time for travel on event days. View the CampusParc website for parking impacts during these dates.April 12 - Ohio State 4 MilerRoad ClosuresAccess to parking areas within the 4 Miler event route will be limited / delayed.At 4 a.m., Tuttle Park Place south of Woody Hayes Drive will close.From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Woody Hayes Drive between Fyffe and Tuttle Park Place will be closed.From approximately 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Fyffe Road, Lane Avenue, Tuttle Park Place, Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 19th Avenue, Neil Avenue, 18th Avenue, 11th Avenue, and Annie and John Glenn Avenue will be closed. Traffic delays are anticipated.Bus Service ImpactsAll CABS routes, including CABS On-Demand and paratransit, will be suspended from approximately 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.April 18 - Spring Game at Ohio StadiumRoad ClosuresRoadways near Ohio Stadium close several hours prior to Spring Game kick-off. . Woody Hayes Drive will be closed between Cannon Drive and Tuttle Parking Place from approximately three hours prior to kick-off until the end of outbound traffic. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area.Bus Service ImpactsAll CABS routes, including CABS On-Demand and paratransit service, will be suspended from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The ADA shuttle will pick-up riders inside the North St. John Arena disability parking lots near the ROTC building. April 25 - Capital City Half MarathonRoad ClosuresThe Capital City Half Marathon will take place from approximately 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Several streets, including portions of High Street, Lane Avenue, Fyffe Road, Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 19th Avenue, Neil Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue and 12th Avenue will experience rolling closures. Campus will be accessible from the south, from the west via King Avenue, or northbound State Route 315 to Med Center Drive. Traffic delays are anticipated. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area.Bus Service ImpactsThe Campus Connector route, CABS On-Demand and paratransit service will be suspended. The Wexner Medical Center Shuttle will not service the University Hospital – Pavilion (UH Pavilion) during this time.April 25 - Luke Combs at Ohio StadiumRoad ClosuresIn preparation for and during the Luke Combs concert, roads surrounding Ohio Stadium will be limited to those with an event parking permit from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. Woody Hayes Drive between Cannon Dr. and Tuttle Park Pl. will be closed to traffic at 8 a.m. through midnight. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area.Bus Service ImpactsAll CABS routes, including CABS On-Demand and paratransit, will be suspended.
