The Homecoming Parade will occur on Friday, October 3. From approximately 5:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., sections of Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 11th Avenue, 12th Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue, 18th Avenue and 19th Avenue will be closed.
The BE, CC, CLS, ER and CABS On-Demand daytime service will be suspended during this time. A shuttle will be available to take passengers between the Herrick Hub and Buckeye Lots via Cannon Drive during the parade, stopping at Mid Towers (NB and SB) and Midwest Campus (EB and WB) stops. The NWC and the MC will continue to run during this time. Regular CABS service will resume once roadways reopen.
Other evening campus events are scheduled. Traffic delays and parking impacts are anticipated.
Homecoming Parade Road Closures
5:15 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Woody Hayes Drive / Woodruff Avenue will be closed in both directions between Cannon Drive and High Street.
- College Road will be closed in both directions between Woodruff Avenue and 11th Avenue.
- Annie and John Glenn Avenue will be closed at Neil Avenue for eastbound traffic.
- There will be no access to 19th Avenue during this time.
- 18th Avenue will be closed at College Road.
- 12th Avenue will be closed for eastbound and westbound traffic between High Street and Neil Avenue.
Other evening campus events, including the Parker McCollum concert at The Jerome Schottenstein Center on October 3, will generate additional traffic and associated travels delays in and around campus.
