CABS Thanksgiving Holiday Service

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, CABS will run break service on Wednesday, November 23 and no service Thursday,  November 24 through Saturday, November 26. On Sunday, November 27, CABS service will resume at 7 a.m. with the Campus Connector, CABS On-Demand and paratransit service.

Road Closures, CABS Impacts for Hot Chocolate Run

The Hot Chocolate Run will take place on Sunday, November 20. Rolling closures will occur along High Street, south of 11th Avenue from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Please note that the intersection of 11th Avenue and High Street will also be closed at this time. CABS On-Demand and paratransit will remain available.

Road Closures, CABS Impacts for Turkey Trot Event

The Turkey Trot will take place on Thursday, November 24. Rolling closures will occur on several roads, including portions of Lane Avenue, Kenny Road and Woody Hayes Drive from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. CABS will not be running at this time as part of the CABS Thanksgiving holiday service hours.

Road Closures, CABS Impacts for Homecoming Parade

The Homecoming Parade will occur on Friday, September 30. At 4:30 p.m., Cannon Drive north of Herrick Drive will close. From approximately 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., sections of Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 11th Avenue, 12th Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue, 18th Avenue and 19th Avenue will close and the BE, CC, ER route and CABS On-Demand daytime service will stop running for the remainder of the day.

Home Football Saturday Traffic and CABS Impacts

Home Football Saturday Bus Service

During home football Saturdays, motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area. CABS routes (including paratransit and on-demand service) are suspended six hours before kickoff until two hours after the end of the game.

Anticipate Traffic Delays on May 8

Spring commencement will occur on Sunday, May 8 at Ohio Stadium. Additional traffic is anticipated from 9 a.m.  - 5 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in the area.

4/30, 5/1 - Traffic Impacts

Students will be moving out of residence halls April 23 - May 1, with the busiest days occurring on April 30 and May 1. Parking lots, garages, loading zones and roadways will be busier than normal during this time. Traffic delays are anticipated, so motorists should plan accordingly. Please note that normal parking restrictions still apply during move-out.

Student Move-In: Jan 17-24

Students will be moving into residence halls Jan.17-24. Neil Ave. will be closed between the Lane Avenue Garage entrance and Lane Ave. daily during this time. Access to the garage will be maintained via Tuttle Park Pl. to Neil Ave. Parking lots, garages, loading zones and roadways near residence halls may be busier than normal and traffic delays may occur. Please note that normal parking restrictions still apply.

10/19 – Plan for Road Closures on Dodd Drive, 10th Avenue

The Relay for Life event will take place on Saturday (10/19) from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. During this time, Dodd Drive, in front of McCampbell Hall as well as westbound 10th Avenue, in front of The James, will be closed.  Access to the South Cannon Garage will be maintained via The James forecourt. Exiting garage traffic will be directed eastboundon 10th Avenue.

Traffic officials will be on-site to direct motorists accordingly. Motorists should anticipate traffic delays in these areas during this time.

7/21 - Traffic Impacts

The Ross Heart Hospital TriFit Challenge will take place on Sunday (7/21) from 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Woody Hayes Drive, between Tuttle Park Place and Fyffe Road, as well as Annie and John Glenn Avenue, between Neil Avenue and College Road, will be closed in both directions during this time. Motorists should anticipate delays around the area.
