The Homecoming Parade will occur on Friday, October 25. From approximately 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., sections of Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 11th Avenue, 12th Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue, 18th Avenue and 19th Avenue will be closed.

Road Closures, CABS Impacts for Columbus Marathon
The Columbus Marathon will occur on Sunday, October 20. Several campus streets, including sections of Carmack Road, Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, Tuttle Park Place, College Road, 19th Avenue and Neil Avenue, will be closed intermittently from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vehicular traffic will be delayed entering / exiting areas within the event route. Access to the Carmack Lots on west campus will be available via Kinnear Road and Lane Avenue.

Labor Day Holiday CABS Service
In observance of the Labor Day holiday, CABS will run reduced service on Monday, September 2. The Campus Connector route and paratransit will operate on the weekend schedule and CABS On-Demand will provide regular service. All other routes will not run during this time.

Road Closures, CABS Impacts for Hot Chocolate Run
The Hot Chocolate Run will take place on Sunday, November 19. Rolling closures will occur along High Street, south of 11th Avenue from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Please note that the intersection of 11th Avenue and High Street will also be closed at this time. CABS On-Demand and paratransit will remain available.
In the News: Using cameras on transit buses to monitor traffic conditions
As highlighted by Ohio State News, researchers have demonstrated that they could use cameras installed on CABS buses at The Ohio State University to automatically and accurately measure counts of vehicles on urban roadways.
"Sharing access to our bus cameras for traffic monitoring is a great example of how university operations can support research and learning," said Tom Holman, director of Transportation and Traffic Management (TTM). "We are happy to share existing resources that can generate helpful data for long-term traffic planning purposes on campus and beyond."
In the News: CABS, USG bring back campus free airport shuttle for spring break travelers
As highlighted by The Lantern, The Undergrad Student Government (USG) is partnering with Transportation and Traffic Management (TTM) to once again provide a free airport shuttle for spring break travelers.
The shuttles will take students to John Glenn International Airport and will run hourly on March 10 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and March 11 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Shuttles will also be available to take students back to campus on March 18 from 12 p.m to 12 a.m. and March 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Weekend Changes for James Parking Shuttle
Due to a temporary closure of the Safe Auto Garage for routine cleaning and maintenance, the James Parking Shuttle (JPS) will add stops this weekend. Beginning on Friday (8/5) at 7 p.m., and running through Sunday (8/7) at 9:30 p.m., the JPS will service Wexner Medical Center Garage with stops at Rhodes Hall, Ross Heart Hospital and The OSUCCC James only. This service change is to accommodate patients and visitors parking in the Wexner Medical Center Garage during the temporary closure of Safe Auto Garage.

Transportation and Traffic Management’s Campus Area Bus Service has been recognized by Ohio Clean Fuels as a three-star certified Ohio Green Fleet. The certification recognizes organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency.
