Beginning Tuesday, June 21, and continuing through early August, Carmack Road, between Bevis Hall and the Carmack Road corner, will be closed for roadway improvements. The north / south portion of Carmack Road, between Arthur Adams Drive and the corner, will be southbound only. CABS buses will be rerouted westbound Lane Avenue to southbound Carmack Road and will not service the Carmack Corner or Bevis Hall stops. Parking lots will remain accessible. Motorists should follow detour signage in the area.
Due to summer construction in the area, the Neil and 11th Ave. Bike Share station is now closed. The bicycles at this station have been moved to other Bike Share stations in the system. The station will open after the construction is completed, which is ancipated to be late August or early September.
CABS summer service begins on Wednesday, May 4. CABS will run reduced bus service Monday - Friday, with no service overnight (except the overnight, on-demand transportation service at the Wexner Medical Center), on the weekends and on university holidays. Please note that the North Express does not run during this time. Beginning Monday, May 9, CABS summer construction reroutes for the Med Center Express, Campus Loop North and Buckeye Village will go into effect.

The Capital City Half Marathon will take place on Sat. (4/30) from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Several streets, including portions of Lane Avenue, High Street, and Olentangy River Road, will be closed at various times. Traffic delays are anticipated. To access campus, S.R. 315 northbound traffic should use Med Center Dr. S.R. 315 southbound traffic should use Lane Ave. to Fyffe Rd. to Woody Hayes Dr.
During this time, the Archer House and Taylor Tower stops will not be serviced. Riders may access CABS at the Knowlton Hall and Fontana lab stops.
TTM will be hosting an Unclaimed Bicycle Sale on the Knowlton Hall patio on Tuesday, April 26th at 9:30AM. All bicycles will be $40.00 (which includes tax) and are sold “as is”. It is recommended to have the bikes professionally evaluated for safety prior to using.

A new hydrogen fuel cell bus will be used to collect data for use by researchers at the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) and will operate on the university’s Columbus campus for one year thanks to a partnership with the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA). Transportation and Traffic Management (TTM) will operate the bus as part of its CABS fleet.
On Saturday (4/16), the men’s lacrosse game begins at 11:00 a.m. and the spring football game begins at 1:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate heavier than normal traffic on highways and streets around campus and increased demand for parking on Saturday. Football shuttles will provide service between the Mount Hall Loop on West Campus and the Sisson Footbridge, west of the Olentangy River, from 9:00 a.m. until one hour after the spring football game. The Run Down the Demons 5k will take place on Saturday (4/2). From 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., several roadways, including Woodruff Avenue, between College Road and Tuttle Park Place, as well as Neil Avenue, north of 18th Avenue, will be closed. The Campus Loop North (CLN) and Buckeye Village (BV) routes will be suspended. Motorists should anticipate traffic delays in these areas during this time.
