As highlighted by Ohio State News, researchers have demonstrated that they could use cameras installed on CABS buses at The Ohio State University to automatically and accurately measure counts of vehicles on urban roadways.
Morehouse Shuttle Service Changes
Effective on Monday, July 3, service frequencies for the Ackerman Shuttle are changing to run every 30 minutes between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. These changes align with current ridership demand, which will continue to be monitored.
Effective June 5, masks will no longer be provided on CABS buses. This change aligns with the decline in mask usage as well as updated university guidelines shared in April that make masks optional in most settings on all Ohio State campuses, including on public transportation.
Wendy Todys, a driver with Transportation and Traffic Management’s Campus Area Bus Service (CABS), was recognized with the Wexner Medical Center’s Random Act of Kindness acknowledgement for her role in making a positive difference on campus by rescuing a furry friend from danger.
