The early arrival move-in on Thursday, Aug. 15, begins the buildup to Welcome Week at The Ohio State University. Students begin moving in at 9 a.m. and wrap up at 3:30 p.m. Faculty and staff are advised to arrive early to campus and not move their cars.

Students at The Ohio State University Columbus campus have a new late-night travel option. Lyft Ride Smart at Ohio State will launch August 1, and provides discounted rides between the hours of 9 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Beginning August 2, WA and WB permit holders who work weekends (including Friday evenings) or holidays may park in the 9th Avenue West and 9th Avenue East garages with their access keycard.
Staff with a WA or WB permit must use their 2019-2020 access keycard for garage access available for entry Fridays at 6 p.m. through Mondays at 3 a.m. Staff must exit the garage by 8 a.m. on Mondays. Similar arrangements will be in place during university holidays.
