CABS will run reduced service on Monday (9/4). Overnight / Weekend, Buckeye Village and paratransit are the only routes in service. The MC Express will not run.
West campus and CX permits are valid in A, B or C spaces until 3 a.m. on the morning following a university holiday. The Polo and Dodd Lots will close at 11:59 p.m. on September 4. In conjunction with Framework 2.0, the Cannon Drive relocation project and road closure will begin Sept. 5 and run through the fall of 2019. The straightening and elevating of Cannon Drive, which runs parallel to the Olentangy River, supports future growth of the university and the Wexner Medical Center and will create a certified levy to serve as future flood protection. On Monday (8/21), from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuttle Park Place will close south of the Tuttle Garage, and Annie and John Glenn Avenue will close west of Neil Avenue. No thru traffic will be permitted. The North Express and Buckeye Village CABS routes will continue to stop at Ag. Campus, St. John Arena and RPAC Plaza but will not service additional central campus stops during that time. Commuters should plan ahead and allow extra travel time. View CABS routes .
Early Arrival Move-In will occur Thursday, August 17, from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., resulting in heavy traffic, roadway restrictions, increased demand for parking on campus and significant traffic and bus service delays.
CABS has made updates to its previously announced 2017-2018 routes and service times. To be responsive to customer needs, the North Express bus route will service the west campus Carmack Lot 5 lot during the academic year. North Express will not service the Buckeye Lots.
Beginning Tuesday (8/1), the Campus Loop North and Campus Loop South will service the Buckeye Lots while the Med Center Express shifts from the Buckeye Lots to the Carmack Lots. Most CABS routes will service the new Herrick Drive Transit Hub when it opens (9/5).

On Saturday, July 22, from approximately 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., 12 th Avenue, from High Street to College Road, as well as College Road, from 12 th Avenue to Annie and John Glenn Avenue, will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions for an event on campus. Traffic delays are anticipated in the area. All should follow directions of officials in the roadway and plan their travel accordingly. Please note that road closures are subject to change.
The Ross Heart Hospital TriFit Challenge will take place ion Sunday (7/16) from 7 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Several roadways, including portions of Woody Hayes Dr., Cannon Dr., Coffey Rd., Tharp St., John Herrick Dr., Neil Ave., 12th Ave. (between Neil Ave. and College Rd.), College Rd., Annie and John Glenn Ave. and 19th Ave. will experience rolling closures. Motorists may experience traffic delays during this time.
The Special Olympics State Summer Games will take place Friday (6/23) - Sunday (6/25). Motorists should anticipate increased parking demand, heavier than normal traffic on highways and streets and heavy pedestrian traffic when traveling on campus, particularly near the Coffey Road fields as well as 11th and 12th Avenues (east of Neil Avenue). Please note that on Saturday and Sunday, Coffey Road will be open to one-way northbound traffic only.
