The Capital City Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 29, from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Several streets, including portions of Lane Avenue, High Street and Olentangy River Road, will be closed at various times. Traffic delays are anticipated. To access campus, S.R. 315 northbound traffic should use Med Center Dr. S.R. 315 southbound traffic should use Lane Ave. to Fyffe Rd. to Woody Hayes Dr.
Students will be moving out of residence halls the week of May 1. The spring 2017 move-out campus-wide event date is Tues. May 2, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Parking lots, garages, loading zones and roadways will be busier than normal during this time. If you plan to be on campus, it is recommended that you do not move your vehicle during the day if you do not have to. Please note that normal parking restrictions still apply during move-out.
COLUMBUS, OH— Bus service throughout the region will be enhanced when the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) launches a redesigned bus network on May 1. The community is invited to four public information sessions to learn about the new network and receive assistance planning new trips.

On Saturday (4/15), the spring football game begins at 12:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate heavier than normal traffic on highways and streets around campus and increased demand for parking on Saturday. Football shuttles will provide service between the Mount Hall Loop on West Campus and the Sisson Footbridge, west of the Olentangy River, from 9 a.m. until one hour after the spring football game. CABS will suspend all service from 10 a.m. until one hour after the game.
Ohio State’s new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station has officially opened. The university initially broke ground on the station – the first of its kind for an Ohio university - in July 2016 . The station will serve the university’s Department of Transportation and Traffic Management, as well as the City of Columbus, and may be utilized by additional university, state agency and central Ohio municipalities.

Beginning as early as Friday (3/31) at approximately 6 p.m. and continuing through Sunday (4/9) evening, Woodruff Avenue, between Tuttle Park Place and Scott House, will be closed to thru-traffic for utility work. Access to the Scott House loading dock will be maintained. Vehicular traffic will be detoured to Lane Avenue.

In June 2016, Campus Partners and the university announced a comprehensive vision for the 15th Avenue and High Street area, and construction on the east side of High Street is underway. High Street work will begin Monday (3/27), scheduled to be completed by August 2017. The work, which will build a new storm sewer system, will require lane restrictions on parts of High Street, allowing one lane to remain open in each direction. The restrictions will begin at 13th Avenue and move north in rolling 250 ft increments.
The Ohio Union Activities Board is hosting a concert on the evening of Friday, March 31, in the Northwest Stadium lot. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. and continuing through the end of the concert (approximately 11:30 p.m.), Cannon Drive, between Woody Hayes Drive and the West Stadium lot, will be closed. Please note that vehicular access will be maintained to Lincoln and Morrill Towers, as well as the Drake Performance and Event Center. During this time, the CABS Campus Loop North and Campus Loop South will be rerouted along John Herrick Drive.

From 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., several roadways, including portions of Annie and John Glenn Ave., 19th Ave., College Rd., Woody Hayes Dr., Cannon Dr., Neil Ave. and 12th Avenue, will be closed. There will be limited traffic flow at the intersection of Tuttle Park Place and Woody Hayes. The CLN and BV routes will be suspended.
