Safety is the university’s top priority and Facilities Operations and Development (FOD), CampusParc, Transportation and Traffic Management (TTM) and the Department of Public Safety work together to offer services during the winter months to keep you safe. As snow and ice start to collect, FOD teams are dispatched to treat campus roadways and sidewalks.
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, CABS will run break service on Wednesday, November 27 and no service Thursday, November 28 through Saturday, November 30.
In conjunction with the reopening of the new Cannon Drive and Woody Hayes Drive intersection in late November, Campus Area Bus Service (CABS) routes will look different heading into the colder months.
In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, CABS will run reduced service on Monday, November 11.
The Ohio State University’s Columbus campus has been awarded $300,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets for All (SS4A) program for its project, “Protecting Vulnerable Roadway Users: A Multimodal Safety Plan.”
